THE TERROR ATTACK IN MUMBAI, INDIA AND WHY THE REST OF THE WORLD HATE AMERICA

There is a clear and common sense reason why the rest of the world hate our country. With the ongoing Terror in Mumbai, India our 24 hour news organizations such as CNN, FoxNews, and MSNBC are criticizing the Indian Intelligence and Police for dropping the ball, and failing the citizens and tourists of Mumbai, India. I watch these news organizations complaining about conflicting reports coming out of Mumbai, India in regards of whether or not the Indian news organizations know what exactly is really going on in their country. My question is this, where were all this critiquing by these same news organizations of our own country in the lead up to the war in Iraq?

What our country news organizations fail to understand it wasn't that long ago before 9/11 that our own intelligence failed to realize that we had knowledge there were men who only wanted to learn how to guide an airplane, and didn't want to know nothing about taking off and landing the airplane.

Our country news organizations fail to realize it wasn't that long ago immediately after 9/11 with all flights in and out of America shut down, our government allowed the first flight out of America was the Bin Laden Clan unimpeded, and no questions asked.

Our country news organizations fail to realize it wasn't that long ago our country created a coup in Iran, and installed a dictator by the name of The Shah of Iran.

Our country news organizations fail to realize it wasn't that long ago that during the Iraq/Iran war we gave Iraq any and everything from Mustard Gas to any Weapon Of Mass Destruction they asked for to defeat Iran.

Our country news organizations fail to realize it wasn't that long ago Iran gave our country intelligence on Afghanistan in the lead up to the invasion of Afghanistan.

Our country news organizations fail to realize it wasn't that long ago that our country news organizations laid down like cowardly dogs in fear of being portrayed as traitors in the lead up to the Iraq war.

This is the most profound reason why the rest of the world hate us. The rest of the world notice when we have our Sunday morning news shows, we still have people who got everything wrong being touted as experts. The rest of the world notice when we give out medals to people who failed us, and degrade the people who got it right. The rest of the world notice when we impeach a sitting President for committing a dumb sex act in which no lives were lost; but we let a sitting President off the hook for lying and causing the death of thousands. These people are wondering in amazement how in the hell did the people of America become the most powerful nation on earth. But guess what, the working middle class people of America are wondering the same thing.

TONIGHT AMERICA SHOWED ITS "GREATNESS"!!!

Tonight America proved to the world that America is the "Greatest Nation on the PLANET." Tonight America proved to the world that the people of the United States understand why the majority of the people of the world are doing anything and everything to come to America. Tonight we as a people have shown the world that we have came to the point that we as a people have healed from the wounds Rev. Wright spoke about. Tonight the people of America spoke to Iran, Irag, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia, Israel, Syria, Germany, South Korea, North Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, and most of all "AFRICA".

I highlighted Africa for the same reason I'll be highlighting the Black community of America as I relate my thoughts on this glorious night. I decree that we as Black Americans now have an opportunity to stop looking in the mirror at ourselves and accepting ourselves as second class citizens. We as Black Americans who are caught up in the Black on Black crimes against each other should steal a page out of the President elect "BOOK" and say to ourselves that we are above the bullsh!t. Was anybody noticing when the Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers controversy came up Obama simply said to America, we as a people are above the bullsh!t. What the man was really telling us, if you America don't panic on me, I promise I won't panic on you. And we as Americans have to take him at his word until he prove to us other-wise. PLEASE! My brothers and sisters of Africa, stop the killing of each other just because your tribe speak a different dialect that your tribe speak.

Be careful what you wish for, there is no doubt in any clear thinking person mind that Black America will be under the closest scrutiny than any other time in the history of this country; even more than a century ago we as Black people were scrutinized when we hungered to read and write. This is the time in history for Black and White Americans to have the ability to recognize the light weights from the heavy weights; this is not about body weight, this is about brain capacity. This is the time for the youth of Americans to stop acting like they're not responsible for their actions; this is a time for all of us to believe that we as a nation have been given a breath of fresh air.

Barack Obama Will Win The Presidency Because of His Community Organizational Background!!!

A few months ago during the Republican Convention people like Rudi Giuliani were scoffing at Barack Obama's community organization skills. It will be precisely Obama's organizational background which made John McCain's campaign seem elementary in comparison that will win the election for the President of the United States of America.

The American people are begging for a President who will lead America back to its greatness, everybody in the world still know America is the richest and the most powerful nation on earth. But everybody in the world also know, America has lost some of its luster. With terrorism having the ability to strike from anywhere in the world today, we don't have the luxury to be hated by any country in the world. Years past most countries envied America and yearned to be a part of this great nation for the freedom and fairness we illustrated. For the Hillbillies who preside in the back-woods of Kentucky there is a big difference between envy and hate, I don't have time right now to lace your your boots and explain how the two differentiate. I suggest for the Kentuckians who can read, for once in your life open a book and see for yourself the difference between envy and hate, and stop relying on the words of others.

I would like to take a moment to give a shot out and thank Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, and the rest of the Fox News family for spewing their hatred towards Barack Obama; without those guys help, Obama wouldn't have won the Presidency.

The Faces of Real "UNCLE TOMS"

The National Black Republican Association (NBRA) has a warning on their website stating, "Warning! A vote for Barack Obama is a vote for Socialism." They continued with a quote from Confucius, "an oppressive government is more to be feared than a tiger." In essence these people are saying under an Obama Presidency, Americans will be under Socialist rule and oppressed. Typical Republican scare tactics, seems as if the UNCLE TOMS learned well from their Republican masters.

This is Shelby Steele a prominent member of NBRA who is an author, columnist, documentary film maker, and a research fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. Mr. Steele specializes in the study of race relations, multiculturalism, and affirmative action. Although Mr. Steele benefited from affirmative action, now he feels it's time for Blacks to pull themselves up by their own boot-straps. Actually I agree with Mr. Steele in regards to Blacks pulling themselves up by their own boot-straps, I just disagree with the way Mr. Steele think Blacks should go about doing it.

One problem I have with Mr. Steele is that he think, from reading his writings Whites are actually victims of Blacks; and Whites should take care to protect themselves. Mr. Steele has used his wisdom and knowledge to break Blacks down into two categories, 'Bargainers and Challengers'. Mr. Steele writes, 'Bargainers' are people like Oprah Winfrey, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, and Sidney Portier strike a "bargain" with White America in which they say, I will not rub America's ugly history of racism in your face if you will not hold my race against me. 'Challengers' Mr. Steele writes, like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton "challenge" whites by charging them with inherent racism and then demand that they prove themselves innocent by supporting black-friendly policies like affirmative action and diversity.

I vehemently disagree with Mr. Steele's opinion of the intelligence and morality of both Blacks and Whites. Mr. Steele seems to think Blacks are perverse and dependent victims reduced to trading on their moral blackmail of Whites who are eager to be blackmailed in exchange for absolution. The main problem I have with Mr. Steele is his belief that Obama can't win, as depicted in his book titled, A Bound Man: Why We Are Excited About Obama And Why He Can't Win. I've given my opinion of Mr. Shelby Steele, I'll leave it up to the readers of Mr. Steele's book to voice their opinion.

This is Michael Steele a prominent member of NBRA who was the first African American to serve in a Maryland state-wide office and the first Republican Lieutenant Governor in the state since the position was created in 1970. At the time Michael Steele was the highest ranking elected African American Republican in the United States; it was rumored Michael Steele was being considered John McCain's running mate for the Presidency. I must admit I never thought I would be mentioning Michael Steele in this category until it was obvious Barack Obama would win the Democrat Primary for President. Mr. Steele went on Fox News and said some of the most vile things about Obama that I thought he didn't have in him; I was wrong.

This is Larry Elder a prominent member of NBRA a former lawyer who became a major figure of right wing talk radio in Los Angeles, CA. Basically Mr. Elder is a guy who people on Fox News like Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly invite on their shows when they want to trash Barack Obama. Mr. Elder wrote a book titled 'Stupid Black Men', proceeds from Mr. Elder book went to the Jewish World Review which is highly critical of Barack Obama. Mr. Elder has far too many flaws for me to try and list them here, I suggest readers of this blog visit Mr. Elder's website http://www.larryelder.com/ to get the full jest of this guy.

This is Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson a prominent member of NBRA who attacked the African American holiday Kwanzaa as a racist, pagan, Marxist holiday. Rev. Peterson said the founder of Kwanzaa, Maulana (Ron) Karenga is a racist who wants to get rid of GOD. Rev. Peterson is quoted as saying, "the United States has no need for Kwanzaa because we are a Christian nation, and we already believe in Christ." Rev. Peterson has said he believe if Barack Obama become President, he will push legislation for Kwanzaa to replace Christmas as a national holiday. What Rev. Peterson fail to say or just ignorant to the fact that Kwanzaa is merely a celebration of African heritage, and has nothing to do with attempting to replace Christmas or Christianity.

This is Star Parker a prominent member of NBRA who believe a Presidency under Obama will allow the clergy of Biblical conviction to be slandered by a salacious media that will swim in the sewer to destroy our Christian cause. What Ms. Parker forgot or refused to mention is that it was the clergy masquerading their Biblical convictions as Christians who were participating in acts that violated our children that real Christians trusted to be alone with our children.

Every person mentioned in this article can be googled and read for themselves about these people, and readers of this article can make their own opinion whether or not I've depicted these people fairly.

Gov. Sarah Palin's $150,000 Wardrobe

I have no problem with anybody upgrading their appearance, but when one does it at the expense of tax payer dollars while campaigning they're for the Walmart shoppers and they're shopping at Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, strikes me as hypocritical. What really pisses me off is the way they tried to clean it up, stating the clothes will be donated to charity. Most McCain-Palin donors thought they were donating so the campaign could advertise and have money to pay for their bus and air travel. All this talk about the clothes will be donated to charity, what if I was pro-life and somehow the donated clothes end up benefiting a pro-choice organization? I believe the majority of us know how to donate our money to a charitable organization, we don't need the McCain-Palin campaign to do it for us. I'll be willing to bet 'Joe The Plumber' have never shopped at Neiman Marcus or Saks Fifth Avenue. As a matter of fact Gov. Palin said, she's more comfortable in hunting and construction clothes. The only thing this proves is the McCain-Palin campaign will say one thing to their donors and supporters, and do the opposite.

The Scurrilousness Of The McCain-Palin Campaign

The McCain-Palin campaign has sunk to an all time low in American politics. Just the idea of insinuating that being Muslim is a bad thing, insinuates that the McCain-Palin campaign are prejudice towards Muslims. To make the claim that by giving the working middle class tax cuts, and rolling back the tax cuts George Bush gave to the wealthiest people in America is somehow socialism is ludicrous. To insinuate there are two Americas claiming there are parts of America that is pro-America, and other parts of America are anti-American; is in essence an anti-American statement within itself.

Let's discuss this Muslim thing the McCain-Palin campaign has so scurrilously thrown around. We have two wars going on in Muslim countries, and we're trying to convince the people of those countries to be more like us; a Democracy. Just think for a minute what's going through their mind when they hear the McCain-Palin campaign, who could become the most powerful people in the world insinuate that being a Muslim is a bad thing. We have Muslims in our military fighting and dying to give the McCain-Palin campaign the right to voice their opinion that Muslims are bad people. I think it would be a good idea for the McCain-Palin campaign to visit the Arlington National Cemetery and see for themselves the thousands of headstones of Muslims who died fighting for this country.

The McCain-Palin campaign has suggested there are parts of America that's pro-America and parts of America that's anti-America. I think Gov. Sarah Palin's association with the Alaskan Independent Party (AIP) allowed her heart to get in the way of her judgement with her pro-American statement. Now we have Congresswoman Michele Bachmann of Minnesota branding Barack Obama as anti-American. The Congresswoman went on to say she believe every Democrat in Congress should be investigated to find out if they're pro-Ameican or not. I think Congresswoman Michele Bachmann should be investigated to find out if she's sane or not. Just today Pat Buchanan said the endorsement by Colin Powell of Barack Obama was done because both men are Black. The behavior by the Republican party is true insanity, what the Republicans don't understand, the rest of the world are watching and remember America's past history in regards to people of color.

We go all over the world preaching to other countries how they should be like us, with the behavior of the McCain-Palin campaign, what country in their right mind would want to be like us?

Fox News And Their Subliminal Racism

Fox News has been highly successful with people like Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and now Mike Huckabee. One main ingredient Fox news employ to make them so successful is the exploitation of Black people who allow themselves to be used to give credence to their racist views. Before I go on I need to clarify something, when I used the word subliminal in my title, I'm referring to Bill O'Reilly and Mike Huckabee; Sean Hannity doesn't try to hide his racism at all. I'm not about to sit here and place 100% of the blame on Fox News in regards to exploitation, ignorant dumb Blacks definitely shoulder some blame.

Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity made themselves famous on Fox News by inviting Black guests on their shows when a segment was about trashing Barack Obama or any other Democrat. Recently Mike Huckabee got into the act by inviting two young Black people, Mercedes Maggit and Freddie Johnson to explain how workers from Acorn held a gun to their head and made them register to vote over 100 times. As for Fox News exploiting Black people, I think Joe the Plumber, Samuel Joe Wurzelbacher is the first White person Fox News has exploited.

My question to Fox News is this, Bill O'reilly, Sean Hannity, and Mike Huckabee careers has excelled by exploiting Uncle Tom Blacks by inviting them on their shows to debase other Blacks, when will the Uncle Tom Blacks who have been exploited by Fox News get their own show? Recently Fox News have ran special after special about Barack Obama questioning who is this guy. What is his relationship with Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright?

When will Fox News or any other media organization do a special to find out the relationship of G. Gordon Liddy and John McCain? Since plumbers are in the news these days, G. Gordon Liddy was the chief operative for the White House Plumbers unit during the Nixon administration. Mr Liddy masterminded the first break-in of the Democratic National Committee headquarters in the Watergate building in 1972, which led to President Richard Nixon's resignation in 1974. G. Gordon Liddy served four and a half years in prison for his role in the burglary. Mr. Liddy has said, "as a child growing up in a German-American community that included many admirers of Adolf Hitler, and listening to Hitler's speeches made me feel a strength inside of me I never knew before."

When will Fox News or any other media organization do a special to find out the relationship of Gov. Sarah Palin and the first dude with the Alaskan Independence Party (AIP)? The AIP goals were to remain a territory, become a separate and independent nation, wanted to have commonwealth status, and become a state with no ties to the United States of America. The AIP was founded by Joe Vogler who stated, "I hate America, I'm an Alaskan not an American, I have no use for America or her damned institutions." Mr. Vogler went on to say, "the fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred of the U.S. government, and I won't be buried under their damn flag. When Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home."

When will Uncle Tom Blacks finally realize they're being exploited by Fox News with their subliminal racism?

Joe The Plumber vs. Joe Six Pack

Mr. Joe Wurzelbacher aka Joe the Plumber became an instant celebrity during the Presidential debate last night. Mr. Wurzelbacher is a plumber who just happens to be a registered Republican conservative with aspirations to own a plumbing business who confronted Barack Obama at a rally about Obama's plan to raise taxes on people earning $250,000 or more. It wouldn't surprise me if Mr. Wurzelbacher was a plant by Republicans designed to show up at one of Obama's rally and confront him about his tax plan. But since I don't have any proof of that, I'll leave that up to the readers of this blog to decide.

Let's deal with some facts, at the moment Joe the Plumber and Joe Six Pack are one and the same. Which means their earnings are between $47,000 and $50,000, this means Joe the Plumber and Joe Six Pack will get a tax cut under Obama's tax plan. So in essence Joe the Plumber is complaining about something that doesn't even affect him, actually Joe the Plumber is complaining about something that would benefit him under Obama's tax plan. First of all, Joe the Plumber doesn't even possess a plumbers license, not only does he need a plumbers license, he also needs to be bonded.

One thing for sure, we've heard time after time during John McCain's stomp speeches and his town hall meetings stating, "one thing I guarantee, I'll make you famous." Well John McCain definitely kept his word on that one, Joe the Plumber is famous now. As a matter of fact, he's so famous the IRS are now contacting him about back taxes he owe. I think Joe the Plumber should send John McCain a thank you card for making him famous.

THE $700,000,000,000 CON GAME

It almost seems as if the only way the general public will understand our government $700 Billion dollar bail out package, is for it to be explained by Jon Stewart of the Daily Show or Steven Colbert of the Colbert Report. Ever wondered why with the majority of the American people against the bail out package, the people we voted for passed a bill to bail out millionaires and billionaires anyway?

Remember when Henry “Hank” Paulson the United States Treasury Secretary and George Bush a few weeks ago introduced a three page bill telling us if we don’t act immediately, there will be people in food lines worst than the Great Depression when the Stock Market crashed in 1929? Turns out we the taxpayers were lied to, the urgency was to keep the rich guys rich. The expediency was really because the fat cats knew the American people became aware of the $700 Billion bail out package had nothing to do with them.

Just think if the people we voted for would have listened to their constituents and passed a bill to bail the taxpayers out. It definitely couldn't have done worse, since the bail out of the financial institutions the Stock Market has lost more in the history of the Stock Market. But instead the people we took time off from work to vote for said amongst themselves, we just don’t understand. So since our Congress and Senate representatives assumed we just don’t get it, they gave the $700 Billion bail out to the people who got us in this economic crisis in the first place.

The bail out package for the taxpayers would have enabled people to pay their bills and have some kind of leverage to negotiate with financial institutions on their mortgage. I know some people would have spent the money on things like drugs and other stupid things, but the majority would have spent the money responsibly. The banks and businesses would've had money flowing which would have led to liquidity of cash within the financial community, everybody would've benefited.

Here’s the real reason why the taxpayers were ignored by the politicians, even those who say we should get away from the trickle down effect. Financial institutions make their money on the distribution of money, so when money is distributed the interest rates kick in. For those of you who are fortunate enough to be able to pay cash for big ticket items, ever noticed how financial institutions always tried to talk you out of paying cash and go on a payment plan. When we go on a payment plan, we usually wind up paying three times as much for the listed price of the item.

This is insanity, take a look at the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) notice the word fair is nowhere to be found. The agreement was never meant to be fair, because if you’re fair exploitation is off the table. This means you can’t exploit slave labor from countries like China. My biggest surprise is how the American population is not outraged about how the middle class has been destroyed by the exploiters. In reality there is no more middle class in America today; you’re either rich or poor.

Hitler’s Germany Holocaust wouldn't have been successful if the people would have spoken up about what was happening right in front of their eyes. The Slave Trade in America wouldn't have been successful if people would have spoken up about what was happening right in front of their eyes. And lastly, over 4,000 of our brave troops wouldn't be dead if people would have questioned our experts about what they were telling us. How long are we to accept the words of supposedly experts before we wake up?

Rep. John Lewis Denounces McCain-Palin Campaign For Racist Scare Tactics

Rep. John Lewis said the tactics the McCain-Palin campaign are applying remind him of the tactics segregationist and racist Gov. George Wallace used by creating an atmosphere of hate which led to the bombing of a church in Birmingham, Alabama that killed four little Black girls while attending Sunday school.

John McCain and Sarah Palin know exactly what they're doing, they're employing the same scare tactics Republicans resort to every election. During the 2004 Presidential campaign George Bush used scare tactics with the help of the swift boat liars by telling the American people he will protect us against terrorist attacks, and John Kerry won't. Now today in the 2008 Presidential campaign McCain and Palin stole a page out of George Bush playbook and telling the American people they should be scared of Barack Obama. The McCain-Palin campaign are sending the message that because Obama along with prominent Republicans served on an education board with someone who committed horrendous acts when Obama was eight years old somehow makes Obama a terrorist.

To McCain's credit he has made an effort to stop the racist and hatefulness of his campaign, but the racist and hateful ads haven't stopped. I agree with Rep. John Lewis the rhetoric by the McCain-Palin campaign compares with that of Gov. George Wallace. We all hear the code words about who is Obama and he pals around with terrorists, some people hearing these things believe it and are scared. I honestly believe the racist and hatred rhetoric by McCain and Palin is actually a slap in the face and total disrespect to the law abiding Arab and Muslim Americans by insinuating if you're Arab and Muslim we should be scared of them. I'll tell you what I'm scared of, some crazy person thinking they're doing the country some good and harming Obama. If that happen I believe it would set off something that would make the race riots of the 70's look like an elementary grade school fight. The irresponsibility of the McCain campaign could start something that rivals the Civil War. History has proven hatred leads some people to do dumb stupid things, let's all pray the rhetoric from the McCain campaign doesn't lead to history repeating itself.

John McCain Desperately Trying To Link Barack Obama And 60's Radical Bill Ayers Together

The McCain-Palin campaign are on a daily desperation attempt to connect Barack Obama and Bill Ayers together. Bill Ayers is a former 1960's anti-war activist who co-founded the radical organization The Weather Underground which conducted a campaign of bombing public buildings during the 1960's and 1970's while Barack Obama was still in grade school. In 1977 all charges were dropped against Mr. Ayers, and he has never been convicted of any terrorists acts. Today Bill Ayers holds the title of Distinguished Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Education.

Recently while seeing his poll numbers drop, McCain and Palin have embarked on a daily barrage of negative attacks against Barack Obama. The McCain-Palin campaign are desperately trying to convince the American people that Barack Obama must be a terrorist, or have terrorist ties because both Barack Obama and William Ayers served on the board of an anti-poverty group, the Woods Fund of Chicago between 1999 and 2002. The Woods Fund of Chicago was absorbed by the Chicago Education Board in 2001. McCain and Palin are continuously calling for Obama to explain exactly when did he become aware that Bill Ayers was a radical who was involved in criminal activities in the 1960's. This probably will surprise some readers of my blog, but I actually agree with McCain and Palin question; I think the question is fair game. I also believe it's fair game for McCain and Palin to ask Leonore Annenberg president, chairperson, and sole director of The Annenberg Foundation who endorsed the McCain-Palin ticket and a staunch Republican, when did she and her board members learn of Mr. Ayers actions in the 1960's. Here's the real deal, William Ayers was hand picked by Ms. Annenberg and her board of directors to become a board member of The Woods Fund of Chicago long before Barack Obama became a board member. My point is this, if McCain and Palin is making the argument about Obama palling around with terrorists, can't the same point be made about one of McCain's most staunchest supporter palling around with the same terrorist. The bottom line is this, McCain-Palin want us to believe that a woman who can sneak up behind a moose and shoot it in the back of the head, and field dress the moose is ready to be Vice President. McCain-Palin want us to believe that a woman who is a hockey mom and a Joe six-pack guy is ready to be Vice President. Does this mean the football moms and the Joe shot of Hennessey guys are not represented by this woman? Give me a break, this is not a time for somebody who is ready for the job as the local librarian, which Sarah Palin is qualified for, this is a time for experienced and critical thinkers to step up to the plate.

A little bit about Cindy McCain, when Michelle Obama was out on the campaign trail making statements, the media and everybody else was saying, if she's out there campaigning then she's fair game. Not one time did Michelle Obama attack John McCain, all of her campaign speeches was about what Barack Obama would do as President. Cindy McCain for the first time questioned Barack Obama's patriotism, Cindy McCain said Obama voted against a bill to fund our troops; she was right. Obama did vote against a bill to fund the troops, two weeks before that John McCain voted against a bill to fund our troops. The bill Obama voted against was a bill put forth by Republicans that didn't have a timeline for our troops to leave Iraq. The bill McCain voted against was a bill put forth by Democrats that had a timeline for our troops to leave Iraq. In actuality both men votes cancelled out each other's vote. Now that Cindy McCain has spoken out on the campaign trail and attacking Obama, I believe it's fair game for Cindy McCain to explain to the American people why she stole drugs from people who desperately needed those drugs their lives depended on. Before we knew Cindy McCain was a drug addict, she gave speeches about how much she loved the people who she stole drugs from to feed her drug addiction. Turned out Cindy McCain loved her drug addiction far more than any of the people who relied on the drugs to get through their everyday lives. When Cindy McCain suggested Barack Obama should change shoes with her for just one day, Obama should have shot back and told her he don't wear bitch shoes. But Barack Obama character is above such mortifying behavior.

The McCain-Palin campaign has gotten to the point that they're willing to say and do anything to save their campaign. This is equivalent to the fight between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield when Mike Tyson realized he was losing and took a bite of half of Holyfield's ear; anything to win. So when McCain tell the American people he's all about country first, I think he got it twisted, with McCain it's campaign first and America second. Watch out Barack, shake his hand but no hugging, protect your ear.

Race Relations in America Today

Before I get into the nuts and bolts of the subject matter, I have to share my naivete on the subject. I knew race relations wasn't at the point that every American could say, "when it come to race, we as Americans don't trip on things like that." But I have to admit, I didn't know things were as bad as they are. Until Barack Obama ran for President, and got this close to becoming President, I was totally oblivious how rampant racism was in America today. I remember when I worked in a high rise building on the 24th floor in the financial district of San Francisco and held conversations with my White co-workers at the water cooler and at lunch about how our families should get together and just get to know each other. I was the only person of color in the Engineering Division, my naivete led me to believe these White people were sincere. Now after seeing Barack Obama coming close to becoming President, and O.J. Simpson being convicted of robbery because an all White jury played the get even card; I now know some of my White co-workers were bullshitting me with the smiles at the water cooler and at lunch. I refuse to sit here and paint every White person as a racist, if I did that, that would prove I'm ignorant when it comes down to accepting each individual on their merit and eliminate me as possessing a KOOLBRAIN. What I will sit here and say, I believe the majority of Whites if they look forward at a 90 degree straight angle, when they look at a Black person their vision of sight and mentality will go down instead of up. This does not make them a racist, it just means their fear of something or somebody different overwhelms their capability of intelligence.

If Blacks and Whites could sit sit down and have a grown up conversation with each other about race relations in America today, I'm still a believer that common sense will rule. The operative word is common sense, but I've also noticed, the majority of us don't exercise common sense the majority of the time. Even though I cling to the belief that common sense will rule the day, I continue to see ignorance prevailing over everything we cherish.

I know people who read my blogs on a regular basis are sick and tired of me blaming Blacks as major contributors to the plight of Black Americans. I'll say this one thing, and just get on with the subject matter of this article. Until Blacks cease to accept themselves as second class citizens, we shouldn't expect others to view us as equals. There's a group of Black people who identify themselves as the National Black Republican Association (NBRA). I honestly believe it's a good thing for diversity to be a part of both Republicans and Democrats. With that said, for some reason the members of NBRA feel that it's their duty to be attack dogs on Barack Obama for the Republicans. I recently viewed a forum by NBRA on cspan, I was prepared to hear members of the panel talk about what Blacks should do to strengthen the Black community. What I heard from Star Parker, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Angela McGowan, Dr. Deborah Honeycutt, Frances Rice, Alphonso Jackson, Rev. LeRoy Thomas, Dr. Thomas Sowell, Michael Steele, and Dr. Shelby Steele was the trashing of Barack Obama and why Whites should fear Blacks. Dr. Shelby Steele went so far as to place certain Blacks into certain categories. Dr. Shelby Steele went into a long dialogue about how Blacks like Oprah Winfrey, Tiger Woods, and Michael Jordan manipulate Whites one way, and how Blacks like Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton manipulate Whites another way. What Shelby Steele conveyed to his predominately White audience was whether it's elite rich Black people like Oprah Winfrey and Tiger Woods, or social Blacks like Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton; Whites are the real victims in America today. I sat there in a daze watching these people go on and on about how dangerous Barack Obama and Black people are to Whites. The more these people talked, the more it was as if I was watching some science fiction movie. I watched in shock when the all Black members of the panel took questions from the predominantly White audience; the majority of the questions were how can we protect ourselves from the Black predators. Instead of the NBRA using their platform sending a message how Black fathers should be more a part of the children they fathered, instead of the NBRA using their platform to talk about the escalation of teen pregnancies and the high school dropout rate in the Black community, instead of the NBRA using their platform to address the continuous insanity of Black on Black crime; the NBRA used their platform to trash Barack Obama and explain to their White audience how they are victims of Blacks. When I watch Sean Hannity of Fox News bring on Black guest like Larry Elder and Deroy Murdock to help deliver his trashing of Barack Obama give some kind of credence to his racist rants; that's enough proof to me that we as Black people have gotten to the point that we have become cannibalistic, we devour our own.

O.J. Simpson Found Guilty On All Counts

The conviction of O.J. Simpson of Robbery should be a lesson to every Black person in America. It doesn't matter if you're Colin Powell, Oprah Winfrey, Muhammad Ali, Martin Luther King, Barack Obama, or Joe Blow the street guy; if you're Black in America, White America will never fail to let you know from their perspective you're still a NIGGER. Just like Clarence Thomas said during his confirmation hearing to the Supreme Court, "this is nothing more than a modern day lynching."

When I learned the state prosecutors and the presiding judge had formed a coup and served O.J. Simpson and his co-defendant Clarence Stewart an all White jury, I knew O.J. chances of acquittal would fall lower than the Stock Market fell September 29, 2008. Las Vegas has a population of over 1.8 million, and they want us to believe they couldn't find one person of color who was capable of serving on the jury; yeah right. It's astounding how we as Blacks allow ourselves to continuously be suckered into actions that we know, or should know, when things go awry the deck is stacked against us. The guilty verdict of O.J. was nothing but pay-back to Blacks by Whites for the not guilty verdict in O.J. murder trial thirteen years ago. We all know Whites never forgot the celebrations that took place on college campuses and bars by Blacks after O.J. acquittal for the double murder of Nichole Simpson and Ron Goldman. One of the worst things about the whole sequence of events, complaints were made to the police and the FBI days before this fake robbery took place regarding O.J. stolen property, the complaints were ignored. In my opinion, the charges and the guilty verdict was a miscarriage of justice.

What's worse than White America playing the get even card, are Blacks who help them achieve their goals. I've noticed for years how we as Blacks have proven that we are our worse enemies, but time after time I managed to convince myself it wasn't true. It's as if we're cannibalistic, we devour our own. With the people O.J. and Michael Vick consider friends, who in the hell do they consider as enemies? O.J. and Michael Vick managed to associate themselves with the lowest of life forms, fake friends. Both men affiliated themselves with people who they thought was down with it and tough guys, but both men learned they surrounded themselves with a bunch of punks. The people who O.J. and Michael Vick thought was tough guys are the type of guys a real man would spit in their face and dare them to do something about it.

If Blacks don't wake up, we will become extinct and the only evidence of Blacks ever being a part of mankind will be discovered by some geologist centuries from now preserved in amber fossil. And poor Clarence Stewart, he's what the military call collateral damage.

Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Joe Biden Debate, Who Won?

I will not get into who won or who lost the debate, I prefer to leave that to the readers of this blog. Oh by the way, I'm working on placing a radio button in my blogs so when I ask a question equivalent to the title's question, a reader will have the ability to vote and receive real time poll results; I'm working on it, I appreciate your patience.

I love writing about the events that effect our everyday lives, it really doesn't matter whether an event happened across the globe or across the street. If it affect our everyday lives, I'm more than willing to offer my insight about the events. Here's when writing become a job to me and not a love affair. When I feel it's my duty to write something about the results of a debate, I have to strain my brain to come up with something to say. I'm the type of person who prefer spontaneous replies to questions, not some rehearsed dialogue that have been practiced with handlers for weeks. Here's my example of spontaneity, or the lack of. We've all asked or said someting to our children, a friend, a co-worker, or spouse, and their immediate response is "huh, what did you say." We all know they heard what was said or asked, the response they gave was to give their brain time to come up with a reasonable response. Hopefully I gave some kind of insight why I hate writing about who won and who lost a rehearsed scripted debate.

I'll cheat and say one small thing about the debate. When Joe Biden showed emotion when talking about how he as a single man raised his children and continued to do his job was powerful to me. The bottom line is this, for Gov. Sarah Palin to lose the debate she would have to have a Katie Couric moment. For Sen. Joe Biden to lose the debate he would have to have a Katie Couric moment. Joe Biden's Katie Couric moment was when he made an attempt at explaining how Presidents handle a crisis. Joe Biden said, "when the stock market crashed in 1929, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the TV and told the American people what was happening." Joe Biden's gaffe was Herbert Hoover was President at the time and the TV was introduced to America ten years later in 1939. For the sake of time and space, I'll just list this one Gov. Sarah Palin's gaffe. Gov. Sarah Palin couldn't name a single major Supreme Court decision other than Roe V. Wade. She could've mentioned Dred Scott V. Sanford (1857), Plessy V. Ferguson (1896), Brown V. Board of Education (1954), United States V. Richard Nixon (1974). I have to admit I did research, evidently Gov. Sarah Palin didn't.

I said I wouldn't get into who won the debate, but I did watch the debate. While watching the debate it appeared to me as if Gov. Sarah Palin was performing for an interview to become the head of the local library. I have to admit, it's scary to me to entertain the thought that this woman could become the most powerful person in the world. Not that she's a woman, it's the lack of intelligence of this woman. For those of you who continue to be drunk with the girl power stuff are willing to place the country in the hands of a person who doesn't have a clue how the government or world affairs are suppose to go, then go for it.

Greta Van Susteren of Fox news is Questioning Gwen Ifill of PBS Professionalism

Gwen Ifill is the moderator for the Vice Presidential debate between Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Joe Biden. Gwen Ifill is a Black professional woman who seems to support Barack Obama because she's proud a Black man is in position to be President. Fox News has chosen Greta Van Susteren to take the lead in being the attack dog on Gwen Ifill because Fox News thinks a Black person moderating the debate when there is a Black person who is one of the debaters, just doesn't have the professionalism to do her job in a non-partisan way. Does this mean Fox news shouldn't host any debates because the whole world knows Fox News are Republican partisans? The only person at Fox News who can claim any credibility as a fair and balanced reporter is Chris Wallace.

A little tidbit about Greta Van Susteren, I decided to visit her blog after she interviewed Bill Clinton and asked him what's the difference between Rev. Wright and David Duke. It was obvious to me Ms. Van Susteren was trying to equate the two men. Before I go farther, a little fact about Rev. Wright and David Duke. Even though Rev. Wright sermons were incendiary, the majority of what he said was true. The only thing I disagree with Rev. Wright is when he said AIDS were deliberately placed in the Black community to destroy the Black community. The only reason I disgree with Rev. Wright on the AIDS comment is because it can't be proven; I definitely don't put it pass the powers that be. But when Rev. Wright made the comment stating that one can't perpetrate terrorism on a people, and when terrorism land at your door you have the audacity to be appalled; I agree 100% with him. What Rev. Wright was saying is this, the first terrorist who introduced themselves to America was the KU KLUX KLAN, who terrorized Black people for decades in America. I'll even go further to say, he also was trying to convey for all of the Bible toters, don't throw rocks and act like you're an innocent bystander in this game. David Duke is a member of the KU KLUX KLAN, to the people who feel that I should say more, I say to you, do not expect me to resuscitate your intelligence. I will say this about Ms. Van Susteren blog, I've visited a number of blogs and some of them are just outright racist and mean; Ms. Van Susteren blog is one of them (www.foxnews.com/gretawire).

I'll end with this, Fox News seems to think that they have a patent on spewing racist remarks subliminally. What pisses me off more than anything is when someone think they can bamboozle me, and believe they're talking above my intelligence. What pisses me off even more is when a racist talk show host bring a Black person on as a guest to agree with them to give their racist views credence. I would go on, but I'll leave that to another posting on how a Black person can show their worthiness without appearing as an UNCLE TOM.

THE DEMISE OF MATH EDUCATION AND ENGINEERING IN AMERICA, THERE IS A WAY TO REVERSE THIS TREND

In a world where advanced knowledge is widespread and low-cost labor is readily available, America’s advantages in the marketplace of engineering and science technology have begun to erode. There’s a way for students to enhance their math skills while still in high school. I suggest every high school student interested in upgrading their math skills to enroll in a drafting class. Curriculum advisers should encourage more high schools to offer drafting classes, with emphasis on designing small projects and constructing the design. In my opinion, this is a sure fire way to get students interested in engineering and understanding math. Speaking from self experience, enrolling in a drafting course made math easier to understand. After finishing a drafting course, I highly encourage the student to take a Computer Aided Drafting Design (CADD) course. Most colleges and technical institutions offer drafting and CADD together as one course. The student will be introduced to 3D modeling, 3D animation, desktop publishing, ADA codes and guidelines, and much more. The avenues to engineering and science are endless.

This is my driving force for writing this article; when I witnessed Mr. Bill Gates of MicroSoft Inc. testifying to the U.S. Congress stating, “we need to import engineers from third world countries, because there’s a shortage of qualified engineers in America”, hit me in the gut like a ton of bricks. Before I go any further, I want to make it crystal clear, I view Mr. Gates with the utmost of respect in regards to his generosity to underprivileged people, and his computer business savvy to grow MicroSoft into one of the largest and most profitable companies in the world. With that said, we all know, or we all should know, importing engineers from third world countries will drive the salary down for engineers graduating from prestigious engineering institutions such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Virginia Tech, that’s a fact.

A brief history about CADD, CADD was originally introduced as a replacement for the traditional drafting board. I was introduced to CADD in 1980, using a CADD system by the name of Auto-Trol; the system I used was a DOS based system, no pull down menus and no color. All commands had to be typed in from your keyboard, if you wanted to draw a line or circle, you had to manually type it in, and make sure your spelling was correct. Later I worked on a CADD system by Sun Micro Systems, which enhanced my knowledge in regards to 3D capability. Then along came AutoCAD!!! which in my opinion blew the lid off of Computer Aided Drafting. All of a sudden you had pull down menus, short cuts, and color. AutoCAD simplified CADD to the point where an idiot could understand it, and be proficient at it. I have to admit, I don’t believe I would've been able to hit the ground running when I was introduced to AutoCAD, without having the privilege of being introduced to Auto-Trol beforehand.

Fannie Mae And Freddie Mac

This post is not to try and figure out if Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac participated in wrong-doings, I'll leave that to the legal eagles. I will discuss under who's watch did the debacle of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac happen.

Most economic experts believe if Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac could have remained solvent we wouldn't need a government bail out. But since they didn't the $700 billion bail out was born. Here's what really concern me about the bail out debacle, we see every media outlet, newspapers and TV inviting Democrats and Republicans to explain what's going on with the financial institutions. Democrats blaming Republicans and vice versa, even on cspan Democrats and Republicans are blaming the other party. I sit in disgust watching cspan with people calling in with comments while so uninformed. Common sense should lead anybody to the conclusion if you're hearing two different episodes to one story; somebody has got to be lying. What I've noticed is that cspan have a vast audience of sheeples (people who follow and believe anything they hear, without the benefit of intellect). When people just accept anything they hear and read without doing any investigation to find out if it's true or not, they're actually enhancing their ignorance. Example: We've all heard people embellishing a story to make it more than what the story really was; so what you're really doing when you just accept something without research, you're actually embellishing your ignorance. It's really ironic that the only TV show Americans can tune in to get the truth about anything these days is the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

OK, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, sorry I had to say all of that to say this. I actually believe Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is a good thing, hold on a minute!!! let me explain. I view it as a good thing when the people who are at the bottom of the totem pole are given a chance to live the American dream. Everything was fine when Freddie and Fannie was making sure the houses these people were purchasing, the mortgage was in range of their earnings. The problem started when the bundling of mortgages flim flam game was introduced. Here's one example, Comcast Cable Co. charge a certain amount for cable TV, a certain amount for Internet access, and a certain amount for phone service. Let's just say cable TV is $75 a month, Internet access is $50 a month, and phone service is $40 a month. At the time the only service you have from Comcast is cable TV, a Comcast representative contact you and tell you if you bundle all three products, you only pay $100 a month for a year. After a year do to the cost of operation of the cable company, every product has increased in price, now your sweet bundle deal has increased threefold; and the only people who can get the bundle deal are new customers. Deregulation allowed the Wall Street guys to bundle mortgages and sell them at a cut rate price for a few years until they ballooned, and all of a sudden the American dream you could afford a few years ago are no longer affordable.

I'll say just one more thing about the Republicans and Democrats blaming each other about America's financial situation, and attach some fact content to it. When Republicans come on nation wide TV and in the print media, and proclaim the Fannie and Freddie debacle started during the Clinton administration; that's an outright lie. First of all there was no Fannie and Freddie debacle during the Clinton administration. Secondly, the Republicans controlled the House of Representatives and the Senate from 1995 to 2006; that's a fact. So if one is to believe the Republicans, what they're actually admitting is that they saw the problem, had the power to do something about the problem, and chose to do nothing; only a sheeple would go for that.

I would be remiss if I didn't say something about the true victims of the financial situation, the middle and lower class workers. Everybody deserves blame in this bundling game, the middle and lower class workers deserve some blame for going for something that just was too good to be true; that's how flim flam artists reel in their victims, ignorance is no excuse. Example: When you are stopped by a traffic cop doing 35 mph in a 25 mph zone, and you say to the cop, "officer I didn't know this was a 25 mph zone." The first thing the cop will tell you is this, "ignorance is no excuse" give you your ticket and move on to the next victim.

At Last, The $700 Billion Bail Out Bill

This is probably the shortest post I've done. Earlier tonight (September 27, 2008) our Congressional leaders came out and reported they have reached an agreement (heard that before). But not one of our fearless leaders could tell us what the agreement entails, what's the big secret, just tell us what you guys agreed on.

If I'm wrong I'll apologize, because I pride myself on posting facts, well this time I'm going on instinct. I'm willing to bet the Republicans have something in the bill to give rich people a tax break, and Democrats have something in the bill for working middle class people. But above all, Democrats and Republicans have some kind of caveat thrown in the bill that qualify as an Earmark or Pork Barrel Spending.

Stay tuned for this posting to be edited as I research more about the $700 billion bail out bill.

Pork Barrel Spending And Earmarks

I'll be willing to bet that very few Americans knew that the term 'Pork Barrel' derived from slave owners awarding their slaves with salt pork in a barrel when they over-achieved their quota in the fields; under-achievers received bare back lashes.

Here's the main problem with 'Pork Barrel Spending and Earmarks', the people who we voted into office to represent us, Democrats and Republicans, have embarked on a dangerous game. A representative will introduce legislation to allocate funds for poor children ranging from pre-school thru sixth grade to assure they be provided with breakfast and lunch as long as they come to school; it's kind of hard to concentrate on school work with hunger pains. At the same time another representative will introduce legislation to allocate funds for the study of the mating habits of the western caterpillar, and placed in the same bill. Then we have yet another representative to come out and proclaim the bill has 'Pork Barrel Spending' in it. I think it's a dam shame that we have elected officials proclaiming the mating habits of a caterpillar and providing food for poor children are equal; but this is the game that both parties play and it needs to stop. The only way to stop or at least slow down the 'Pork Barrel Spending' and the 'Earmark' non-sense are to re-name bills as priority bills and non-essential bills. This way the only things are permitted in the priority bills are education, funds for fixed income elderly, etc...

Does anyone notice when the lawmakers come out to give a briefing on the progress of the $700 billion bail out bill how many times they say, "the general public don't understand." Instead of them just telling us what they're trying to achieve, they're giving us code talk; which means they're trying to pull a fast one. Every one of these guys who come out to talk to the media are asked the same question by a reporter, "exactly what is the sticking point that's keeping the bill from passing." Each and every time, the answer goes something like, "we just need to work out a few sticking points and caucus with our members." What the hell does that mean? I'll tell you what it mean, we have some people who want something in the bill for people who have become homeless because of Wall Street shady dealings. And we have some people who want to provide funds so America's hardships doesn't affect foreign financial institutions; that way the Wall Street fat cats who have bank accounts overseas can still walk away with millions. I know some of my Democrat friends will be a little angry about this, but it's a fact Democrats and Republicans are trying to protect their fat cat friends.

John McCain's New Attack Dog, Tucker Bounds

Every campaign has attack dogs, both Democrats and Republicans. The problem with the McCain campaign attack dogs, they have no regard for veracity. All of us stretch the truth every now and then, but Thursday (September 25, 2008) Tucker Bounds took truth stretching to a whole new level. Tucker Bounds went on nation wide TV and said, "John McCain's selfless act of leadership in coming back to Washington single-handedly helped push through negotiations on the bail out bill." The lies didn't stop there, Tucker Bounds went on to say, "John McCain put country first and personally saved the economy from disaster." It's as if the McCain campaign has reached the point that they believe their own lies. Sarah Palin went on day after day telling any and everybody who would listen about how she turned down the bridge to nowhere; even though every media organization proved she was lying about her role in the bridge to nowhere, she continued to lie about it. The McCain campaign has reached the point that even if what they're saying are lies, their approach is just keep saying it and the American people will believe it if we say it enough. At some point I think the American people will start to question the McCain campaign mental stability.

McCain - Obama Debate

Usually when I write a post on my Blog I’m excited and just can’t wait to start writing. I must admit, I had to persuade myself to write something about one of the most anticipated debates since the Kennedy and Nixon debate.

One of the main things I was disappointed with the debate was Barack Obama’s demeanor, that’s probably due to my demeanor rather than Barack’s. The guy just doesn't seem to show enough passion and emotion for me; OK, what I really mean is the guy just doesn't seem to get pissed off enough for me. This has nothing to do with whether or not I believe Obama won the debate tonight, I definitely believe he did. But I still wish Obama would be a little more forceful, especially since he’s debating with an older person; and we all know the majority of us allow our elders to talk down to us every now and then in the name of respect.

Barack Obama appeared to be the calm statesman, even when John McCain repeated old lines (lies) he has constantly placed in his campaign commercials (Barack Obama will raise taxes on people earning $42,000). And once again John McCain reminded all of us that he was a POW. McCain continuously reminded viewers about Obama not admitting the surge in Iraq was successful. Obama shot back reminding McCain if he and the Bush administration wouldn't have made one of the worst decisions in American history to invade Iraq in the first place, the surge would have been null and void; even with that, I still believe Obama should have been more forceful with his response.

As for the state of the economy situation most of Americans find themselves in today, I refuse to go into a long dialogue about it. To steal one of Chris Rock lines, we have John McCain worth about $100 million with approximately seven homes and Barack Obama worth about $1 million with one home; if John McCain go into foreclosure on three of his homes, he still have four other homes to live in. If Barack Obama goes into foreclosure he’s homeless; who do you think is closer to the reality of the average American?

The choice is clear, if you believe the people who was wrong about everything about the lead up to the war in Iraq are right about everything now; then you should vote for McCain. If you can look yourself in the mirror and convince yourself that you’re better off than you were eight years ago; then you should vote for McCain. Like I said earlier, I refuse to go into a long dialogue about it. If you believe your life is worst than it was eight years ago, then vote for Obama.

I know a lot of people will ask the question when they read this, why didn't I mention anything about the $700 Billion bail out for the Wall Street guys. I left that out on purpose, I’ll say one thing about this issue; these are the same people who viewed middle class working people as beggars. Now these same people are begging you to bail them out, I’ll leave it up to the readers of this Blog to decide if the millionaires on Wall Street should be bailed out or not.

Mr. Smith (John McCain) Goes To Washington

John McCain has suspended his campaign to focus on the economic crisis. The majority of the pundits are calling this a political ploy by McCain; I say it's a brilliant move. Here's why, McCain has admitted that the subject of economics is something he doesn't have a clue about. What better way to educate yourself on a subject that you know nothing about but to go to Washington and act like you're there to prevent the country from going into financial chaos.

Let's get real, John McCain is doing nothing more than throwing a 'Hail Mary' pass and hoping the voters are top receivers. Every time McCain starts slipping in the polls, he pulls some kind of stunt (choosing Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate) he thinks the voters will go for. Now all of a sudden the financial crisis is too important to run for President and deal with the financial crisis at the same time; give me a break. Exactly how dumb does McCain think the American voters are?

It was refreshing to see Barack Obama didn't go for McCain's latest ploy. I have to admit, I broke-out into a cold sweat until Obama came out and made a statement contrary to McCain's plot. Let's just face the facts, Democrats have caved on pretty much of all of the garbage the Republicans have tried to shove down their throats. McCain suggested Obama travel abroad, once Obama took McCain up on his advice and won the hearts of every citizen abroad, he was quickly branded as uppity and presumptuous. McCain suggested he and Obama should have debates, once Obama agreed, McCain wants to back out, citing the economic crisis is more important. Enough!!! I honestly believe the American people, even the McCain supporters are fed up with McCain thinking he can dictate what decision Obama make.

Hopefully this is one 'Hail Mary' pass that will be batted down by the voters. If we as free minded voters who doesn't have to risk being blown up while we stick our finger into purple ink to express our freedom of choice, choose to vote for someone who campaign on country first, but does everything to prove it's my campaign first; then we deserve what we get.

Barack Obama and the White Middle Class Voters

I refuse to mince words here, we're bombarded with questions from the media why can't Barack Obama connect with the White middle class workers. Since everyone from the media to those who want to stay on the tract that the reason White middle class workers won't support Obama is because they just don't know him, is outright bulls$!+. The real reason is this, there is no such thing as a middle class worker in America as we knew it when we grew up with our parents. For the past decade government has relocated the middle class as null and void, therefore the so called middle class is one pay-check from being homeless; which means you're either rich or poor. Poor Whites view Blacks as a threat because they believe Blacks will accept jobs that usually pay $20.00 to $30.00 an hour for $15.00 to $20.00 an hour. Blacks view Mexicans as a threat because they believe Mexicans will accept jobs that usually pay $15.00 to $20.00 an hour for $10.00 to $15.00 an hour. To put things in proper prospective, I've put the pay scale at a high level on purpose, the $20.00 to $30.00 per hour was a status quo to our parents. Corporate America has put all Americans in a position to just accept lower wages while the price of everything from gas prices to a loaf of bread have more than tripled. And we as sheeples just accept it.

I said all of that to say this, some poor Whites have been brainwashed to believe that if they vote for a Black man their way of life are in jeopardy. This was the same mental thought the majority of Whites had in South Africa when apartheid was abolished. Whites in South Africa cried out loud, "They will take everything from us and declare us as slaves!!!" Once Blacks took leadership the panick of Whites quickly subsided. When the Whites of South Africa saw that the Blacks didn't want any form of revenge; they quickly got back to the business of status quo in South Africa.

The bottom line is this, if poor White people want to stick to the lines of, we just don't know Barack Obama or we just don't trust him; believe me, Blacks would have more respect for you if you just tell the truth and say you just can't bring yourself to vote for a Black man. Tell the truth and shame the devil. If White America really face the facts, the first terrorists who presented themselves to America was the KU KLUX KLAN (KKK). Put your hands over your eyes and pretend that you didn't see nothing; that's what the citizens of Germany who knew of Hitler's Nazis did.

White America, people of color don't want your sympathy or apology, they just want you to stop acting like you're privileged. You came dangerously close to the American Indians becoming an extinct people. You prevailed in making the American Buffalo extinct. You benefitted from the slavery and blood of Black people. And after all that, poor Whites don't know the people who benefitted far more than any Black from Affirmative Action were White women; check the U.S. Census Bureau. And 20% of them have the nerve to call Black people lazy.

PAKISTAN SHOOTING AT AMERICAN AIRCRAFT

Pakistan are taking shots at Americans now, to date we've pumped in over ten billion of our tax dollars to the Pakistani government to help us fight the war on terror. One would think those dollars went towards to win hearts and minds of the Pakistanis i.e. to build schools, infrastructure, and the rights of the Pakistani people; especially the Pakistani women. Instead our hard earned tax dollars have went towards building up the Pakistani military, who in return use those weapons we paid for to shoot at our troops.

What’s amazing about all of this, is that our government leaders, the media, and the general population are accepting it as no big deal, so what if a few of our troops are killed in the process; it’s the economy stupid. The way this incident is being ignored is proof in this particular war, only a chosen few are doing the sacrificing. What happened to the days when America went to war, the whole country went to war? I’ll answer my own question, the general population has taken the attitude, as long as I or any of my family members doesn't have to do any of the fighting, let’s just fight on until we accomplish victory. However, not one of these paper tigers can explain what victory entails. These same people who tie ribbons around their trees surrounding their perfect manicured lawns pounding their chest shouting USA!!! USA!!! Are the same people who forget about the young soldier off in a foreign land when their trees they tied those ribbons around are threatened by the economy.

Now we find ourselves at the mercy of the same people who were wrong about everything in the lead-up to the invasion of Iraq and telling us that the economy is fundamentally strong. It’s ironic we see these same people on all of the network talk shows masquerading as think tank experts. In the mean time all of the people who got it right about the war and the economy are not given a platform by the government or the media. The way I see it, we've become a nation of gullible sheeples, (translation: a nation of people who follow along like sheep believing any and everything our government tell us without questioning or challenging any of it).

I’ll end with this, I saw today one of the polls have 20% of Whites won’t vote for Barack Obama because he’s Black. I’m hoping the poll was wrong, as much as I believe in most Americans to overwhelm those who choose to participate in bigotry; I refuse to allow myself to sink to the level of naïveté on this subject. I know some Whites will say, what about the 90% of Blacks that will vote for Barack Obama because he's Black; I don't believe that poll either. I believe the majority of Americans, White or Black will vote for Barack Obama because they want and believe Barack Obama is the only candidate who will bring about the change that will benefit them and their love ones. A wise person said to me long ago, allow your common sense to lead you in the right direction; if for some reason you allow your heart to lead you blindly, make sure it's not a vital decision. (MeMe).

O.J. SIMPSON AND MICHAEL VICK

O. J. Simpson is back on trial, this time charged with armed robbery. I will not waste my time trying to make sense of the evidence in O. J. case. What I want to focus on is what O. J. Simpson and Michael Vick have in common.

Michael Vick did a dumb stupid thing by participating in a dog fighting enterprise. O. J. Simpson did a dumb stupid thing by participating in a scheme to retrieve his memorabilia. What was dumber and stupider than the crimes they were charged with was surrounding themselves with a bunch of gutless punks. Simpson and Vick surrounded themselves with a bunch of so called friends who portrayed themselves as tough guys. The only problem, these guys portrayed tough guy persona until they were confronted with tough decisions. The minute these guys were confronted with tough decisions, the punkness of them oozed out of them like hot lava from a volcano.

Hopefully this will prove to be a lesson to the youth in this country that believe the only way to prove themselves as tough guys, are to surround themselves with a bunch of tough wannabes. Today America is hemorrhaging with gang-leaders portraying themselves as tough guys as long as they’re surrounded by their posse. These gang members participate in cowardly acts like drive-by shootings with total disregard for innocent bystanders.

The people who participate in gangland behavior are either bullies, or people with low self-esteem. The bullies are the ones who can’t bully other people without their posse with them, and the low self-esteemed can’t function without the protection of the bullies. In return we get an overcrowded penal system with our youth. In return we get some members of society complaining about how our youth are being incarcerated at an alarming rate. The bottom line is this, the only way our youth will pull out of this revolving door of tough guy stupidity, is for parents to start showing tough love. To me tough love means showing compassion, but at the same time letting our children know who’s the boss; even if it means some ass kicking when it’s required.

GOV. SARAH PALIN'S EMAIL HACKED

Gov. Sarah Palin's email account was breached by a hacker today (09/17/08) and the outrage was enormous by the media. Some called for a government investigation (Bill O'Reilly) citing it was one of the worst things that could happen in America. I have to admit, I'm totally against anybody hacking into anyone personal email account.

Can we please get pass the phony outrage. A few months ago in August, a crazed gunman walked into a Democratic Campaign Headquarters and shot Little Rock Arkansas state Democratic Party Chairman Bill Gwatney dead. We heard just a snippet of the Democratic Chairman's tragedy shooting from the media.

We have gotten to the point in the eyes of the media, anything Gov. Palin is front page news. Gov. Palin has a headache, every news media outlet will run it as the lead story of the day. Gov. Palin teenage daughter was impregnated while still in high school, and it became the lead story of the day. Oh dam I forgot!!! disregard that last sentence, Gov. Palin's teenage daughter pregnancy is the the personal matter of her and her family and any comments about it are off-limits to the media.

However, if you're Black or Latino, or any other person of color, you and your family are branded as irresponsible and a disgrace to America's Christian heritage. Must be wonderful to be White and privileged in America.

THE REAL MEANING OF WHITE PRIVILEGE

For those who still can’t grasp the concept of White privilege, or who are constantly looking for some easy-to-understand examples of it, perhaps the following will help:

White privilege is when you can get pregnant at seventeen like Bristol Palin and everyone is quick to insist that your life and that of your family is a personal matter, and that no one has a right to judge you or your parents, because 'every family has challenges.' But as Black families with similar 'challenges' are regularly typified as irresponsible, pathological and contributors to social decay.

White privilege is when you can call yourself an 'f-ing redneck,' like Bristol Palin’s boyfriend does, and talk about how if anyone messes with you, you'll 'kick their ‘f-ing ass,' and talk about how you like to 'shoot animals' for fun, and still be viewed as a responsible, all-American boy (and a great son-in-law to be) rather than a thug.

White privilege is when you can attend four different colleges in six years like Sarah Palin did (one of which she basically failed out of, then returned to after making up some coursework at a community college), and no one questions your intelligence or commitment to achievement. On the other hand a person of color who did this would be viewed as unfit for college, and someone who was only accepted in the first place was because of affirmative action.

White privilege is when you can claim that being Mayor of a town smaller than most medium-sized colleges, and then Governor of a state with about the same number of people as the lower fifth of the island of Manhattan, makes you ready to potentially be President. However, while being a Black U.S. Senator, two-term state Senator, and constitutional law scholar, means you’re 'untested.'

White privilege is being able to say that you support the words 'under God' in the pledge of allegiance because 'if it was good enough for the founding fathers, it’s good enough for me,' and not be immediately disqualified from holding office--since, after all, the pledge was written in the late 1800s and the 'under God' part wasn't added until the 1950s--while believing that reading accused criminals and terrorists their rights (because, ya know, the Constitution, which you used to teach at a prestigious law school requires it), is a dangerous and silly idea only supported by mushy liberals.

White privilege is being able to be a gun enthusiast and not make people immediately scared of you. White privilege is being able to have a husband who was a member of an extremist political party that wants your state to secede from the Union, and whose motto was 'Alaska first,' and no one questions your patriotism or that of your family, while if you're Black and your spouse merely fails to come to a 9/11 memorial so she can be home with her kids on the first day of school, people immediately think she’s being disrespectful.

White privilege is being able to make fun of community organizers and the work they do--like, among other things, fight for the right of women to vote, or for civil rights, or an end to child labor; you’re being tough. But if you merely question the experience of a small town Mayor and 18-month Governor with no foreign policy expertise beyond a class she took in college you’re somehow being mean, or even sexist.

White privilege is being able to convince White women who doesn't even agree with you on any substantive issue to vote for you and your running mate anyway, because all of a sudden your presence on the ticket has inspired confidence in these same White women, and made them give your party a 'second look.'

Whit e privilege is being able to fire people who didn't support your political campaigns and not be accused of abusing your power or being a typical politician who engages in favoritism. But if you’re Black and merely knowing some folks from the old-line political machines in Chicago means you must be corrupt.

White privilege is being able to attend churches over the years whose Pastors say that people who voted for John Kerry or merely criticize George W. Bush are going to hell, and the U.S. is an explicitly Christian nation and the job of Christians is to bring Christian theological principles into government, and who bring in speakers who say the conflict in the Middle East is God’s punishment on Jews for rejecting Jesus, and everyone can still think you’re just a good church-going Christian. But if you’re Black and friends with a Black Pastor who has noted (as have Colin Powell and the U.S. Department of Defense) that terrorist attacks are often the result of U.S. foreign policy and who talks about the history of racism and its effect on Black people; you’re an extremist who probably hates America.

White privilege is not knowing what the Bush Doctrine is when asked by a reporter, and then people get angry at the reporter for asking you such a 'trick question,' while being Black and merely refusing to give one-word answers to the queries of Bill O’Reilly means you’re dodging the question, or trying to seem overly intellectual and nuanced.

White privilege is being able to claim your experience as a POW has anything at all to do with your fitness for President, while being Black and experiencing racism is, as Sarah Palin has referred to it, a 'light' burden.

White privilege is when you draw thousands to hear your speeches, you're deemed the best thing that ever happened to America. But if you're Black and draw thousands to hear your speeches, you're labeled as uppity, aloof, presumptuous, and arrogant.

And finally, White privilege is the only thing that could possibly allow someone to become President when he has voted with George W. Bush 90 percent of the time, even as unemployment is skyrocketing, people are losing their homes, inflation is rising, and the U.S. is increasingly isolated from world opinion, just because White voters aren't sure about that whole 'change' thing. Ya know, it’s just too vague and ill-defined, unlike, say, four more years of the same, which is very concrete and certain.

White privilege is, in short, the problem.

What The Media Won't Discuss In This Presidential Campaign

The media seems to be quick to have the lead story of the day to be about "Lipstick On A Pig" and other non-sense that doesn't affect the average American. Everyday we hear political pundits ask the question, "with the majority of the American population dissatisfied with the direction of the country, why can't Barack Obama pull away from John McCain." I know the answer to that question. Day after day we see polls indicating that Barack Obama is just not connecting with the 'White' blue collar worker. I know the reason for that. A few months ago Barack Obama was 16 points up in the polls on the question, who is better prepared to fix the economy, today (09/16/08) Obama is 3 points up. With the economy in the shape it's in today, why is it that Obama's numbers are dropping in the polls on the subject of the economy? I know the answer to that question. For months political pundits have said, the reason why Obama can't close the deal is because people just don't know him. One prominent political pundit, Gloria Borger went so far to say, "the reason why the 'White' blue collar workers are not connecting with Obama is because he's different from any Presidential candidate we have ever had." I know what she meant when she said Obama is different. Okay, now I'll address the questions and statements I made. The real plain and simple answer to all of the questions and statements are because Barack Obama is "BLACK". Even Dr. Phil who career was launched by a Black woman (Oprah Winfrey) set there on Larry King and gave nothing but accolades to Gov. Sarah Palin, saying he hasn't made up his mind who he was going to vote for. The only reason Dr. Phil is having a hard time deciding who he's voting for is because he hasn't quite brought himself to vote for a Black man. The majority of 'White' America feel this way, this is the real reason this race is this close; this is what the media refuses to discuss. We go on our lunch breaks at work and talk about everything but race relations in America; the core reason for this is corporate America has deemed it taboo to discuss at work. We all know we have 'White' friends who we socialize with that we dare not to talk about race relation issues that America are confronted with. To prove my point I challenge any journalist and political pundit to pose the question, if Barack Obama was 'White' with the same political views would he have the support of the 'White' blue collar workers; this is what the media won't discuss. We hear political pundits making the point that Barack Obama enjoys 90% of the Black vote. What those same political pundits don't say, since the passing of the Voters Rights Act in 1965 until now, Blacks voted 100% for 'White' men. Are those Blacks to be considered prejudice because they voted 100% of the time for 'White' men? Did any of those pundits ever stop to think until now those Black voters didn't have a choice but to vote for 'White' men.

John McCain: The New Change Advocate

Change is coming!!! Change is coming!!! This is what we're hearing on every campaign trail today. The question is, who is better suited to deliver change? Recently John McCain have hijacked Barack Obama's theme for change. John McCain made a comment today (09/15/08) stating that the economy is fundamentally strong. Other than the high profit big oil companies, exactly whose economy was John McCain referring to? Let's explore how John McCain would be a President of change. John McCain plan to fix Social Security is to have employees invest the taxes they pay for Social Security into a financial institution on Wall Street; sounds like a Bush administration of more of the same to me. Employees need to ask John McCain which one of the more than 117 Investment and Banking Institutions that have went bankrupt, or headed in the direction of bankruptcy under the Bush administration does he recommend? Would John McCain suggest Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, or would it be Enron; the company that wrote our energy legislation in a private secret room behind closed doors with Dick Cheney? John McCain wants to continue billion dollar tax breaks for the super rich and the record breaking profit big oil companies; sounds like a Bush administration of more of the same to me. John McCain supporters should ask themselves, does the super rich and the record breaking profit oil companies, or the middle class working families need tax cuts. John McCain wants to continue the Bush administration backed North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) as it presently is. Barack Obama wants to change NAFTA to include the word FAIR in the trade agreement. Fair trade was abandoned by the Bush administration, John McCain will keep our trade agreement as it is. Let's take a quick look at what NAFTA has done for the average working American. Before I delve into the failings of NAFTA, I'm willing to bet the average American doesn't know our national debt includes America is in debt to Mexico upwards of 38 billion dollars. The Bush administration and John McCain says illegal immigrants are taking jobs that Americans won't do. We see advocates of this kind of sentiment put out ads on TV showing immigrants predominately working in the Agriculture industry. Before I go any further, I'll be the first to admit if I was a person living in Mexico earning $5.00 a day, and all I had to do is to climb through a hole in a fence and earn $5.00 an hour; I'd be the first person climbing through the fence. I'll pose a question to John McCain supporters, when was the last time you walked by, drove by, or visited a construction site, workers on our streets and highways, a meat plant, or a landscaping work site and saw anyone but Mexican workers? These are jobs five or ten years ago that paid $15.00 to $25.00 an hour, today these jobs are paying $7.00 to $10.00 an hour. I'm not blaming immigrants for this, everybody know it's our local Department of Commerce and business owners who want to keep wages down. John McCain and the Bush administration voted against to raise the minimum wage for the past ten years; sounds like a Bush administration of more of the same to me. John McCain voted against Dr. Martin Luther King birthday becoming a federal holiday. The bottom line is this, we all remember our Grandparents telling us, you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Joe Watkins, The Republicans Favorite Negro

It has become obvious when Republicans feel the need to bash Barack Obama, they unleash their happy Negroes. Joe Watkins has shown up on every major cable news outlet when the subject matter is about the fallacies of Barack Obama. I will not debase myself and go through the many times Joe Watkins have carried water for the Republicans and argued in behalf of the McCain campaign on the many flip flops and gaffes John McCain has made. Before I go any further, I think it’s about time for us to get off of this kick about John McCain being an American hero because of his POW status. There were lots of POW’s, I view them as heroes also, as a matter of fact I view every American who fought to protect America as a hero. Where's the hero status for the forty four people on flight 93 on September 11th who were the only people to fight back on that day? The real point to be made is that everyone is overlooking the fact that the forty four people on flight 93 were the only ones to fight back on that day. Not even the military was more heroic than those forty four people; because at least they fought back. WHERE IS THEIR HERO STATUS? Like everybody else in America I honor John McCain’s patriotism and his sacrifice he and his family gave for America. But by no means do I believe by being a POW, or serving in the military qualifies anybody to be President.

Back to the happy Negro, Joe Watkins and his Republican colleagues continue to bring up the fact that Barack Obama has 90% of the Black vote; it’s the 10% that doesn't have Obama's support that's the main concern of this article. John McCain showed up in front of a 90% Black audience and apologized for voting against the legislation for Dr. Martin Luther King birthday to become a federal holiday. I actually accept John McCain’s apology, what I don’t accept is that John McCain has offered no explanation why he voted against the legislation in the first place. Not one of the 10% of happy Negroes has ever asked John McCain that question. To be fair, not one of the 90% of the Barack Obama supporters has had the guts to ask the same question of John McCain. It seems as if we've gotten into a state in this country that all we have to do is apologize and plead ignorant, and all is forgiven. Example, Georgia Rep. Lynn Westmoreland said, "Just from what little I've seen of her and Mr. Obama, Sen. Obama, they're a member of an elitist-class individual that thinks that they're uppity.” When asked about his comment regarding the word uppity, Rep. Westmoreland proclaimed he had no idea the word uppity had racial overtones when referring to people of color. The problem I have with Rep. Westmoreland’s claim of ignorance is this, people like Rep. Westmoreland and other Republicans seems to have no problem connecting the statement Obama made about lipstick and a pig with sexism. Let’s just face facts, when it comes to promoting an agenda everybody is astute. When the agenda doesn't fit their views, they plead ignorant; to be fair Republicans and Democrats play this game. The question is this; do they think the people in the general public are stupid? If they do, the general public has a duty to prove them wrong by voting for the person who has your best interest at the forefront, and not vote with your heart. Vote for the person who can best help you improve your life, not for the person who you’re affiliated with politically. Don’t just take their word for it, do some fact checking. Anyone can easily check what the candidates are saying are true or false by going to www.factcheck.com.

LIPSTICK ON A PIG VERSUS UPPITY, ARROGANT, ALOOF, PRESUMPTUOUS

It's amazing how Republicans have the ability to recognize the phrase "Lipstick on a Pig" can be used in a condescending manner when referring to women. But, they seem to be totally oblivious when the words uppity, arrogant, aloof, and presumptuous are racist code words when referring to people of color. Congressman Lynn Westmoreland of Georgia recently said, "just from what little I've seen of her and Mr. Obama, they're a member of an elitist-class individual that thinks that they're uppity." When asked about his uppity remark, Rep. Westmoreland said he had no idea the word uppity had racial overtones. I'm willing to bet if Rep. Westmoreland was asked does he think Sen. Obama remarks about 'lipstick on a pig' was used in a sexist manner and was he referring to Gov. Sarah Palin, he would say, "yes, everybody knows the phrase made by Sen. Obama was a sexist remark aimed at Gov. Palin."

I guess now we're in the business of just pleading ignorant and apologizing, and everything is forgiven. John McCain recently apologized for voting against Dr. Martin Luther King birthday becoming a federal holiday in front of a 90% Black audience, actually I accept his apology. What I don't accept, Sen. McCain's inability to explain why he voted against the legislation in the first place. Here's the bottom line, everybody know Sen. Obama wasn't referring to Gov. Palin when he made the lipstick comment. Everybody also know, when media pundits say people still don't know Obama, what they're really saying is, there are a lot of White people who are still not comfortable with a Black man as President.

COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS GIVE REPUBLICANS SOMETHING TO LAUGH ABOUT

It seems as if people who cling to their guns and religion view community organizers as jokes. Community organizers are the people who real politicians consult to find out what's really going on in the neighborhood they represent. I wonder do these clingers to guns and religion know that Jesus was a community organizer? Remember him, he was the guy who went around preaching the gospel trying to organize people to live a good life. Jesus the community organizer was the guy who preached to people to be kind and help those who have less than others.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a community organizer. Remember him, he was the guy who went around preaching the gospel trying to organize people to fight for their rights through peaceful means. But as newsreels from the sixties prove to us, people who clung to their guns and religion wasn't having any of that fighting for your rights by peaceful means stuff.

It makes you wonder when these so called Evangelical Christians spew out their hateful rhetoric, if they're just doing this Christianity thing just in case the stuff they read in the Bible, and what their Preachers tell them just might be true.

PIT BULLS AND LIPSTICK

Gov. Sarah Palin said the difference between a pit bull and hockey moms is lipstick. I’m not going to sit here and act like I’m oblivious to where Gov. Palin was coming from. I know Gov. Palin was referring to the tenacity of a pit bull and a hockey mom, and was not comparing herself or other women to a dog. But just think if Michelle Obama would have made such a reference. The media would have been outraged, going on and on about how mean she is. And, there’s no doubt the conversation would have reverberated back to Rev. Wright. It’s obvious Gov. Palin is the darling of the media and all critical questions or comments are off limits. On the other hand, Michelle Obama is viewed by the media as a tough woman, and all questions or comments are fair game. Both women have children and a husband. Both women have successful careers. Both women are outspoken about their views. So why is the treatment by the media so different when it comes to these two women? I’ll let the readers of this blog give their opinion. Should be interesting when I read the comments.

MSNBC BOWS TO REPUBLICAN PRESSURE

I knew it was just a matter of time that MSNBC would give Keith Olbermann the Phil Donahue treatment. When Republicans started complaining about NBC being unfair to Gov. Sarah Palin, I knew Keith Olbermann would be blamed for it. Once again NBC played the role of a coward, and bowed to the pressure of the Republicans. Does anyone at NBC think for one second when the Democrats complain to Fox News about Bill O’Reilly’s talking points start with “the loony left or the left wing nuts” everyday, and Sean Hannity’s blatant bias against Democrats on a daily basis, Fox News would demote them? How do you think Fox News rose to the top of the Cable News ratings; by bashing the Democrats? I guess MSNBC want a format like Hannity and Colmes of Fox News, where even the guests tell the Democrat host to shut-up.

David Gregory is slated to replace Keith Olbermann for the remaining of the Presidential race. It’s obvious David Gregory is in favor of the Republicans, he’s just not as outspoken about it as Keith Olbermann is about the Democrats. I have to admit I’m a little biased against David Gregory. During a recent forum on Cspan about how the media covered the lead-up to the Iraq war, David Gregory was the only reporter on the panel who said he thought the media did a good job reporting on the lead-up to the Iraq war. I hear David Gregory on a regular basis when questioning a Democrat, a Republican said so and so, I don’t see anything wrong with that, what’s your problem with it. I've yet to hear him say to a Republican that he doesn't see anything wrong with what a Democrat said.

Tom Brokaw recently said he thought some comments made by Keith Olbermann during the Republican convention were over the top. First of all, Tom Brokaw has turned Meet The Press one of the most prestigious news talk shows in history into a joke. I know Tim Russert is a tough act to follow, but Tom Brokaw has lowered the level equivalent to an interview on The View. I’m willing to bet Meet The Press ratings plummet with Tom Brokaw at the helm; and the viewer ship of the Presidential race at MSNBC plummet without Keith Olbermann. It's a shame the only places America receive the real truth from the media are CSPAN and The Daily Show; this would be funny if it wasn't an American tragedy.
